Mr. O’Donnell has experience
specializing in project management for biological resources
and regulatory compliance since 2002. He has been focused on
projects that aid in achieving resource agency goals while
finding practical and effective solutions to meet the needs
of the development community and local government. He has been
an integral member of local efforts to address issues surrounding
the endangered California tiger salamander (CTS) at the Sunland
Mitigation Bank in Santa Rosa, Bellevue School District-Taylor
Mountain School site in Rohnert Park, Cherry Ranch in Santa
Rosa, Cobblestone Homes-Dutton Place project, and Christopherson
Homes-Occidental Road Preserve. Since 2003, he
has participated in survey efforts described in Department
of Fish and Game CTS Survey Protocol (DFG, 1997) and US Fish
and Wildlife Service Protocol (Service, 2002) to identify presence/absence
of CTS on various project sites in the Santa Rosa area under
the direct supervision of Michael Fawcett, Ph.D. Mr. O’Donnell
has also assisted with efforts to establish mitigation banks
with habitat diversity that will meet the specific needs of
the CTS and endangered plant populations including the Abramson
Mitigation Bank and Walker Avenue Mitigation Bank. |
